“At Inspired Villages we are, at our core, a customer centric organisation with a real need to understand not only how "happy" our residents are, but who they are, where they come from and what it is that they like and dislike about their lives with us. As we have a rapid growth strategy it is important for us to have our fingers on the pulse in order that we ensure we are focussing on the right areas as we grow.”
For this project it was important to adopt multiple research methods to ensure the approach was sensitive to the environment and participants. We used a combination of focus groups (qualitative) at each of the villages to explore the resident experience and ‘culture’ at each village. These themes then informed the research design for a multi-method survey (e.g. paper and online), we were able to benchmark results at village and group level.
